Tarotlit was built for anyone who wants to explore the ancient symbolism and wisdom of tarot cards through a modern, clean mobile experience. Whether you are a complete beginner who has never seen a tarot deck, or an experienced reader looking for a reliable digital companion, this app adapts to your level.
The app covers the full traditional Rider-Waite tarot system — all 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards across the four suits: Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles. Each card comes with a detailed description of its imagery, core symbolism, upright interpretation, and reversed interpretation.
Beyond learning, the app lets you draw cards with a single tap, set up multi-card spreads, take guided meditations, test your knowledge with quizzes, and record your thoughts after each reading — building a personal tarot journal that grows with your practice.
Official mobile application by Spatom. Free to download on Google Play with a generous free tier and an optional Premium subscription for full access.
The app supports 15 languages and is designed to be accessible on any smartphone without special hardware requirements.
No personal tarot readings are uploaded to external servers. Your journal and saved cards remain on your device. Optional cloud backup uses your personal Google Drive or iCloud — no app account is created.
The app receives regular updates with new features, improved card descriptions, and bug fixes based on user feedback.
Everything you need for a complete tarot practice — in one app
Browse all 78 tarot cards organised by Arcana and suit. Each card entry includes the card's traditional imagery description, core symbolism, keywords, and full upright and reversed interpretations to support both study and intuitive reading. Three content tiers: Basics, Professional, and Spiritual.
Start each day with a one-card draw. The app selects a card and presents a focused daily interpretation — helping you set an intention, notice a theme, or reflect on the energy available to you throughout the day. A simple ritual for mindful mornings.
Tap a button or physically shake your phone to draw a random card — mimicking the tactile experience of shuffling and pulling from a real physical deck. The randomisation is instant, intuitive, and surprisingly meditative.
Choose from 14 classic tarot spread formats: single card, three-card past–present–future, Celtic Cross, relationship spread, and more. Each position in the spread is explained so you can interpret the cards in context, not just in isolation. Free tier includes 3 spreads.
Every card in the database includes both an upright and a reversed interpretation — two distinct layers of meaning that experienced readers use to add nuance and depth to a spread. Beginners can start with upright readings and add reversals when ready.
After each reading, write your thoughts and save the entry to your private journal. Over time, your journal becomes a personalised record of your tarot journey — patterns emerge, interpretations deepen, and your intuition grows with practice.
Card meanings are presented with context for common life themes: love and relationships, career and finance, health and wellbeing, and spiritual growth. This makes it easier to apply card insights to a specific question or situation.
30+ guided meditations tied to specific tarot cards across categories like opening, healing, manifestation, intuition, balance, and grounding. Progress tracking and favorites help you build a consistent practice.
Flashcard-style quizzes test your knowledge of card imagery, correspondences, elements, planets, zodiac signs, crystals, and chakras. An archetype personality assessment helps you discover which tarot archetypes resonate with you most.
Track your tarot journey with detailed stats: daily card streaks, top viewed and drawn cards, spread usage, journal activity, and favorite cards. Visual insights help you notice patterns in your practice over time.
Protect your personal readings and journal with a custom PIN code or biometric authentication (fingerprint / Face ID). Optional screenshot prevention adds an extra layer of privacy for sensitive reflections.
Home screen widgets show your daily card at a glance. Customisable push notifications remind you of your morning draw or practice sessions. The app works offline and supports 15 languages.

Designed to grow with you — from your very first card to advanced practice
Never seen a tarot deck? No problem. The app explains every card from the ground up — its imagery, symbolism, and meaning — with clear language and no jargon. You can browse cards casually or start pulling daily draws from day one.
Already familiar with the basics? Use the app to deepen your knowledge of reversals, practice with different spread formats, and maintain a consistent reading journal to track patterns in your practice over weeks and months.
Use the app as a reliable digital companion for daily practice — a clean reference for card meanings, a quick tool to draw during client sessions or personal rituals, and a private space to record readings without carrying a physical deck.
Google Sign-In is used only to create an optional manual backup of your local tarot data to your personal Google Drive. The app stores a backup file (your journal, history, and settings) in a hidden app-specific folder on your Google Drive. This is not a cloud sync service — backups are created manually when you choose to do so, and restore is also manual. No app account is created.
On iOS, the app uses iCloud instead of Google Drive for the same manual backup/restore flow. The app does not use Google account access for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond the backup feature it enables. All data handling is described in full in the Privacy Policy.
This website exists to fulfil Google's requirement that apps using Google APIs maintain a publicly accessible homepage explaining the application's purpose, data practices, and the reason for any account access requested.
Our Privacy Policy explains in plain language exactly what data the app collects (minimal), how it is used (only to provide the app's features), how it is stored (locally on device by default), and what rights you have as a user — including the right to delete your data. No legalese. No surprises.
